Looking for any Ft Gordon people

Hi, I am transfering there next month. Its supposed to be at the end of the month as I am going to be getting my TT here (yeah!!).

I would realy love to get to know someone over the internet or phone before I get there so I dont feel soo lost and lonely when I get there.

I don't live at Ft Gordon  but go there for  my surgery  follow ups as that's  where I had my surgery. I know they  have  support  group that meets the second Tue  of every month in the hospital. Hopefully someone will  contact you. And I feel you pain with having to move.  My husband  is in Iraq and due to be home the end of this month and  we are on orders to go to Ft Bliss and have to be there July 10th. I love the  surgery staff at Ft Gordon feel free to ask me any questions you may have I'll try and answer them for you.  My sister is stationed at Ft Gordon so I go there a lot also. I love that area.

I actualy dont mind moving as I was raised military, served in the military, and now married to the millitary. Its in my blood. Thanks for the tip on the support group on base. That is one of the things I am looking for. Im also looking for someone to maybe point me in the way of the Whole Foods and where they shop and fun places to go to. Things like that. 

Hi!  Hubby is stationed at Ft Gordon.  We moved here in January so we're pretty new ourselves.  There are two support groups in the Augusta area.  They each offer something different, so I'm finding that I enjoy going to both.  Feel free to message me and I can give you my email and phone number if you like.

Hey Lizzie, Fot Gordon has a support group and trinity hospital has a support group.   I get together about once a month with friends as a small group.  We go shopping, out to eat.... just have fun together.  Feel free to e-mail me about any thing in Augusta..... I am Queen of shopping. Sue
