It's so fun to have more lap banders on here. I'm so thrilled with my progress. I just have to share. I was prepared to only lose a pound or two between my post op visit and my first adjustment....I nearly jumped up and down when the scale said I'd lost 8!
I want to be down about 50 by the time we have a family reunion this summer. None of that side of my family knows I've had this surgery. I want to shock!!! them. I was afraid it was going to be impossible, but now it's looking more and more like a reality. This is the easiest 22 pounds I've ever lost. I feel like it's a dream sometimes...please just don't wake me if it is :D
I go to my family Dr tomorrow for a med check etc and I can hardly wait to get on the scales...I've avoided the Dr for year because I just hated getting on them...this is so much better.
Congrats everyone on making choices to take care of yourselves!
