hello!

Hello everyone!  I am new around here and just wanted to say hello. I've been lurking the last few days but thought it was time to say HI! I am currently in the "await surgery date" phase I guess. I am doing all of my preliminary testing and appointments at this point. Once that is done it's off to the insurance company. I am using Dr. Hart with Atlanta Bariatrics. Looking forward to being on the loosing side and making new friends along the way :) -Mel

After meeting with Dr Hart he thought that RNY would be my best option since my BMI is 58. Since i trust his thoughts about what is best i think i am going to stick with RNY =)

just remember it is so important for you to get your supplements in. You will not believe how fast your body is going to change..good luck and keep us posted. Phyllis

Hang in there hon. Your fixing to go on the ride of your life. What a great one!! I had my RNY dec 07 and I've lost 100 pounds so far. Just like phyllis says...get your supplements and everything will work out. Roxie
