DR. RASHID

I am having my RNY done by Dr. Rashid. Has anyone had surgery done by her?

I have heard great things about her. There is a site here that you can read about surgeons..may wnat to check it out

Hello I am from hampton I had my surgery with Dr. Hobson Dr Rashid removed my drain tube All I can say is do not judge the dr.'s by the office people communication with office staff terrible Dr.'s performance much better good luck

Dr. Rashid did my RNY a month ago and i absolutely LOVE HER. i had a little issue while still in the hospital and she was great, she was there when i needed her on a saturday...shes called me from her cell phone and shes is just really caring. i couldnt have asked for a better surgeon. .. but keep that in mind, because the office staff sucks big butt hole. theyre terrible.  feel free to write me if you have any questions!! Dr. Hobson did my RNY in May of 2005, but Dr Rashiid  and Dr. Duncan just took out my thyroid laparoscopically a few months ago.  I liked each of them but I really feel that communication is totally lacking---not just in the office but from the surgeons too....she told me some things that were not correct information---to make a long story short- I ended up having thyroid cancer and shouldn't have had the surgery laparoscopically at all----and I was referred to the cancer center for iron infusions, etc and the information that Dr. Rashiid gave me was not correct.  I was 2 days out of surgery from my thyroid, and spent all day fighting with morons in atlanta.  All worked out, but it was quite frustrating at the time.  In my opinion, Peachtree Surgical is the best as far as surgery---but their after-care is lacking.
