There will be a free community awareness lecture on the topic of weight loss surgical options on Thursday, Feb. 28th at 6:30 PM EST. The speaker will be R. Bryan Freeman, MD Dr. Freeman has been a practicing surgeon for over 2 decades.  He has completed extensive training in both gastric bypass and lap band procedures and he has performed over 2200 WLS procedures.  He is a gastric bypass patient and therefore understands the concerns faced by patients who are considering WLS.
