Peachtree Surgical Center; Titus Duncan

I am goin through the process of being approved now. I am not 100% on the doctors because I haven't met any of them yet? Does anyone have some insight to offer on these guys? I keep hearing good things about Dr. Duncan but I am still really nervous. I don't want to go through all of this and have to start with another surgeon's office, but I do take this process very seriously!  Any suggestions?

Hello, my name is Etoria and I have met with Dr. Michael Williams who is in the Alpharetta area. He is very nice. I am waiting for my insurance to approve me. One of my co-workers and I went to see him and she had her surgery last Monday  at North Fulton Hospital and she is up and running and feeling great. His number is: 770-500-3660. Hope you give him a try, he is very nice and I understand his work is good. He has a small practice.

Hi Ellesix, I wish you all the best!! I didn't have a very good experience with Peachtree Surgicals office..they gave me the run around for 6 months....it was a huge waste of my time and energy. I used Dr. C. Hart & loved him. Good luck to you!!!!

I used Dr. Hobson who works at Peachtree Surgical  with Dr. Duncan and he was WONDERFUL !!! now let me tell you the office there SUCKS you really have to do the work your self but the doctor and hospital staff are great !!! hope this helps

i ALSO HAD dR. hOBSON, AND REALLY LIKED HIM..aND YES YOU DO HAVE TO DO ALL THE PREOP WORKUP YOURSELF BEFORE YOU CAN SEE THE DOCTOR... tRISHA

Dr Hobson and Dr Rashid did my surg in 2005 at Peachtree Surgical.  I have had nothing but a great experience with them, and Atlanta Medical Center....so much that I began working there in 06.  It does take a minute to go thru everything, and unless his pre op things have changed, he does try to scare the crap out of you prior to having surg, but they are worth it.

Thank you guys!  This is very comforting!

I have my surgery with Dr.Williams this morning and I couldn't be happier. His staff are all so sweet and will answer every question. Dr.Williams is quiet, but funny and very sweet. I am SO glad he's my doctor!

Dr. Rashid...who does the lap band in Dr. Duncan's office, as far as I understand, did ours. She was wonderful. We learned on this board that you have to call, call, and call again when it comes to the office staff. We had Lolita and in our opinion she was wonderful. As long as we did the calling when we needed to, things kept moving. We had more trouble with our nutritionist...she held us up for almost 3 months...it was  the worst.  I highly recommend them. We had our surgery at the Atlanta Medical Center...out patient. I had a complication a week after surgery and Susan, the clinical nurse, couldn't have been more wonderful. She was calm and took great care of me, got all the ducks in a row etc. If you have any questions please let me know. We had quite a few people help us and give advice along the way, and we want to repay the favor.
