Self pay lap band cost?

I have a friend who is interested in lap band but is self pay and was wondering about how much it is. We had insurance so I don't know what ours cost. Thank you!

It depends on where you go.  However, here in GA. and estimated cost is about 15K.

Hi there. I have seen anywhere from $14 to $25k for self-pay patients in Georgia. It really does vary widely depending on who you go to.

I am self pay too.  I live on the coast and could have it done in Brunswick for about $21 K.  That would have been a bit closer, but I got great reviews about the guys in Savannah and it turns out their cost is going to be under $14 K    In both cases I was counting in the cost of the psyche eval, etc that needs to be done.  I figure that both would have some charges from labs or the hospital that could not be determined in advance, so I am prepared for the  $14 to be upped a bit.
