Gall stones?

Judy E here, originally from Stockbridge, GA  recently relocated to Orlando ,FL  can't help but come back to the people/forum I am most familiar. Can anyone tell me what a gall stone attack feels like, I spent most of the day yesterday in awful pain and cannot imagine what else it could be.  I know some of you have had to have your gallbladder's removed since the surgery.  I am 2 years and 5os post op and have had no problems until yesterday.  May not be able to get in to see a Dr. today being a Holiday. Hello Sweetie,  Jeannie here, As you remember I had the same problem last year and I had to have mine out just 3 months after my RNY. I was really sick and really in no pain. But I have heared that your shoulder hurt and you have stabbing pain under your right breast. I hope that this helps, Go and get it looked at though. Hug's Jeannie

Thanks Jeannie for replying, I had hoped you would, I seemed to remember you did have to have your gall bladder removed after your surgery.   I am glad you did not have this pain! I did get a Dr. appt for 11:45 am today with my internist so maybe I will find out something but I bet I have to have test to be sure this is what it is.  I do not welcome another surgery so maybe it will be treatable.  Sound like the support group is still going strong, I am glad you are keeping it going, there is a real need in the area. thanks. judy e

  Judy, I'm truly sorry that you are in PAIN, but I'm glad to hear that you are going to the Doctor and get it seen about. I hope that you are able to have it done lap because I did and it was really great. I had it done on a friday morning and I was back to work on Monday.  I would like to invite you to join my on line OH Support group. I'm just now getting it up and running as well.
