News on Candy G... and I'm BACK (I hope)

I spoke with Candy Garcia.  She resent in her packet for approval a few weeks ago.    Well, she finally heard back from them.  And she has been APPROVED.  Her surgery is scheduled for the 31st of January, I think.  She has had to move again (finances) and does not have access to the computer nor phone right now. 

Now on to myself.  I am trying my best to start the new year off better then the last one ended.  I have had a few good days lately and the sun is shining today.  I hope to be back and more active with the board.  I go on my WLS cruise in just over three weeks now.  And I have nothing to wear.  LOL.  Seriously, I have to see if I can find a resale shop that sells shorts right now and maybe swimsuits.  Any ideas?  I miss you all. 

This time of year it is very easy to get depressed...it is dark & gloomy & cold (and possibly rainy), and all of that will put me in a state of depression in a heartbeat !!! Glad that you are feeling better. Norma

Good to see you on the board.  I have been thinking about you and Candy.  I am glad you are feeling better.  I know it is crazy, but January is my favorite month.  The holidays are always hard for me.  I love January when it is all behind me. I am having revision PS schduled for 1/31/2008.  I am also having my arms done.  I guess Cathy and I will both will be under the knife the same day.    Patricia

I've struggled with depression for years. I know how hard it is to even be...let alone act on anything. Welcome back...isn't nice to have a place you can just be yourself...glad you're back and we'll be here ready and waiting if you should need some time off again ;D Shelice

Thank you for your support Shelice.  I am trying my hardest, but to try too hard could set me back so I have to take it one day at a time.  It is hard when people think I can snap my fingers and it will all be gone.  As if....   anyway, I want to wish you well on Monday.  Both you and Dr Rashid will be in my prayers.  She is really a sweet woman isn't she?
