Going in for Gastric Bypass one week from today

Hi there:  I am scared to death.  All these stories of horror on gastric bypass, not sure whether it is good or bad thing to do.  Now here I am only 1 week away.  My boyfriend does not want me to do it because of all the possible complications, but isn't there more pros than cons.  He actually believes that I am doing this because it is an easy way out, but lord knows that ain't true. Any advice or tell me what to expect?  A lot of pain ??

I CANT GIVE YOU ANY ADVICE...BUT CONGRATULATIONS!!!  YOU WILL BE FINE!! THERE CAN BE COMPLACTIONS WITH ANY SURGERY...THINK POSITIVE YOUR DOING THIS TO BETTER YOU HEALTH!!  SEEMS LIKE YOUR BOYFRIEND NEEDS TO DO SOME RECERCH HIMSELF IF HE THINK THIS IS A EASY WAY OUT!!  KEEP US POSTED ON HOW YOUR DOING LUCY
