UnJury Protein

I have started the process for gastric bypass surgery,  I have had one nutrition class so far and they recommend starting on a protein drink right away.  I have read alot about Unjury and was wondering if  anyone knows where you can buy it in the Atlanta area or do you have to order it on the internet.  My doctor is Dr. Dan Proctor.  Has anyone used him for their surgery?  I have met with him already and he has a great personality.  I chose him because he has been doing this surgery for so long and the facility is a Center of Excellance.  I am very excited about this and would love to hear from anyone who has had the surgery with Dr. Proctor. 

I do not know anything about your dr, but I was wondering which hospital you are talking about. I like the chicken soup by Unjury.  I don't care much for the other flavors.  I buy it online. Patricia 

Patricia,      The Hospital is the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.  They havea separate annex a few miles away from the hospital.  The Annex is called the Lanier Park Campus.  it has a big sign over the front door that they area a Bariatric Center of Excellence.  Dr. Proctor' has a website for his practice - www.obesitysolutions.com.  Have you had the surgery already?                                 Elaine                                                              

Elaine, I had surgery at Atlanta Medical March, 2005.  It is a Center of Excellence. too.  I did not know the Gainesville hospital was a excellence center.  I am told that is important.  Good luck with your surgery.  Mine went good.  I have had good results.  I am beginning to really have to be careful to keep the weight off.  I really watch what I eat and exercise a lot.  I still drink lots of protein drinks.  I think they have been my saving grace.  Hope you can find something you really like.  I like the Walker Diet Cappicinno and the ready to drink Akins Advantage Chocolate.  Patricia 262/130 5'1" RNY 3/11/2005

The Unjury is only available online.  I, too, like the chicken soup, but I don't really like the other flavors that much.  You can order samples, I think, from their website.  I would do that and see which flavor you like most.   My surgeon was Dr. Hart at John's Creek Surgery.  He was awesome.
