Anyone out there had problems with Aetna?  I have completed jumping through all of their hoops and my Dr has faxed everything they required twice!  First time on 11/15 and last time on 11/24.  The first time I waited one week and started calling to see how the process was going.  They told me they had nothing on me (sigh).  I immediately called my Dr office and told them, they said that all had been sent and that they would call to get everything taken care of and refax all docs again.  I have called everyday this week to see if they received the papers and today after a week of call back tomorrows, they told me they don't have anything on me again.  Please can anyone offer advice for what I can do?  My plan is to call the Dr's office again tomorrow and tell them that Aetna is still saying they don't have anything (Dr was closed today by the time I got Aetna) but it just seems so pointless and I feel so helpless.  Sigh! I have Aetna and they didthe same thing with me. Then they tried to treat it as a first time surergy and they wanted 6 months of documented weight loss stuff.  Mine will be a revision which Aenta states clearly that they cover.  I am going to try again but don't feel alone, I think it is just a stalling move on Aetnas part. Good LUCK!!!  Becky

Hi Becky, Thanks for the reply.  I was getting really frustrated and beginning to think I was the only one out here having a problem.  I have taken a week off from trying to get them to admit they have my paperwork because I was just too upset to deal with them anymore.  I will try to call them again next week and see if anything has changed.  Please keep me updated on your progress, I really hope things go better for you. Thanks again and good luck to you as well!! Dianne
