Heart Cath.. NO BLOCKAGES

I had the heart cath this morning, and no blockages were found.. PTL!!!!!! Thank you all for  you prayers and words of encouragement. However, what the cardiologist does think is that I have some esophageal spasms occurring and that they are directly related to gastric bypass surgery. She wants me to return to my GI Doctor for further evaluation. I guess I am going to have to let him scope me, and do whatever testing he needs.. She did say she could give me some nitrogylcerin tabs, but she is afraid that with my already too low blood pressure, it will bottom me out, and I will pass out and injure myself.. so not a go on that one.. I will post more as I am feeling more like myself. Take care

my sister has esophageal spasms. She went through hundreds of test and the cath that found nothing for them to come up with that diagnosis. She says you feel short of breath and your chest hurts and will be sore afterwards.. she feels faint..she calls it a "spell"...she lives 30 minutes from Macon..wonder if it is in the water LOL. She was told to try to eliminate as much stress as possible...sound familiar????? LOL I am so glad you are ok even though if it is the spasms it will be a pain in the butt but better than heart problems. I will continue to pray that all test come out normal. Phyllis

Thanks, Phyllis  I apologize for taking so long to respond, but I have had a rough week. After I posted about the good results of the heart cath, I had to be rushed back to the hospital by ambulance due to my femoral artery bleeding.. thankfully, my sister applied pressure and had stopped the bleeding before the paramedics arrived.   Since that time, I have been back to the doctor, and have an acute case of bronchitis.. probably the coughing that triggered the bleeding in the first place, but am fully medicated , on bedrest, with very limited activities for the next week.   I hope to be back to my old self in a few days.. hoping to be able to attend church on Wed, but not sure that is going to happen.. will have to wait and see how I feel.. Take care and again thanks for your support and encouragement.

Hi Sweetie,   I am resting in bed , getting cabin fever, and bored, but , nevertheless, taking it really easy. I had to come to Stockbridge Friday for a doc appt.. my sis drove me, and the trip nearly wore me out..   Our next meeting is Monday, Dec 10, 2007. I just hope that I am mostly , if not completely, over this acute  case of bronchitis that I have going on by then..  I will let you know more details later this week, and if I need your help with anything too.. Thanks for all you do. Take care

Hi Wanda,   I am glad that my heart arteries are ok. I just hope that I am soon over this terrible acute case of bronchitis that I seemed to have gotten from who knows where.  I would love to get rid of all the stress in my life.. when I learn how to do that, I am going to write a book telling how to do this, make an instructional DVD and CD, and make lots of monies.. lol Take care
