Could I have an ulcer?

I have been having almost constant pain in my pouch since Sunday night. It woke me up during the night with diarrhea and what felt like upper gas pain. I didn't sleep much. Every time I ate on Monday it hurt and I had alot of gas and pain and "gurgling". Monday and Tuesday evening I was exhausted and went to bed early. After dinner Tuesday evening I thought I was going to throw up, but I put a cold washcloth on the back of my neck and it went away. At bedtime it started hurting again. I can take Pepto and get temporary relief. I know there has been alot of stomach virus' going around but this has been going on too long. Yes I know I need to make a doctor appointment and I will, I just wanted to know your thoughts also. Does the doc have to do an upper gi ? Can a RNY patient have an EGD?

No I dont have a fever or body aches, no stuffy nose or anything like that.

I'm thinking that sounds like a gall bladder actin' up  Let us know what you find out! Susan

I am 3 yrs post op water tastes good I am doing better since I stopped taking my iron pill again... cant help but wonder if that is it
