Macon Support Group Meeting

I just want to say hello to everyone from the Macon WLS group and also that I really enjoyed meeting everybody new last night and It is so GREAT attending these monthly meetings and hearing everyones wonderful journey's... much sucess to you all.  Gina you are a great host!  Donna 0428

Donna,   Thanks for the kudos, kiddo. If it weren't for you guys attending, I couldn't be a great hostess.. I am glad you have such confidence in my ability to lead. I hope that I am giving out valuable information and answering questions and concerns as they come up.. Hi all!!   I live in Macon and just had gastric bypass 5 weeks ago.  Never knew there was a support group in Macon.  How can I obtain details on when the meetings are and where and any other information??? Thanks! Susan

Hi Susan,   I am Gina, the OH support group leader for the Macon WLS group. We meet the second Monday of each month. I currently hold the meetings at the fellowship hall at Cornerstone Baptist Church on Hartley Bridge Road. For more details, watch this site.. Hi Susan glad to see you dear, Yes, come to the meetings, they are great. I haven't been able to come lately but will be at the December meeting if all goes well, so I hope to get to meet you. Why dont you come to church out there too, our little church is a great place to be and we love everyone. So if you are looking for a good place to go, please, come join us at Cornerstone okay? Hi Everyone,   I have an awesome meeting planned for December. We will be having a mini Christmas party with weight loss surgery legal appetizer type/ finger foods.   More details to be posted soon, probably  the week after Thanksgiving if I am up to posting after my heart cath, and etc. However, I want this meeting to be fun, and to focus on how to get through the holidays without stressing about eating. I  plan to have some hand outs on holidays and etc, and I have some more freebies to give out, thanks to Bariatric Choice, who seem endeared to sending me free boxes of sample items..  Take care, have a safe, blessed and happy Thanksgiving everyone.
