Dr. Duncan is great.  He did my surgery and Drs Rashid and Hobson, I have seen them as well.  They have a nutritionist on site.  AMC is a good hospital.  Didn't have any problems and they took great care of me.  Also, never had to wait more than 20 mins for my appointment.  I always have a 9am appointment and I am at work in Peachtree City by 11am. As far as I know, the only hospital he does surgery at is Atlanta Medical Center. Kim

Thanks Kim, So far I have read very little bad reports. I just talked to my daughter in law and told her to go with them when she gets the ok from sons work that they are covering it. She works in the same building with Dr Duncans office..matter of fact..walks by it daily to get to her office.

Hi there I felt the need to reply here....Dr Duncan did my surgery 8/2006...AMC was FANTASTIC...Im kind of a picky person and OCD about cleanliness...and it past all of my test. Each time I go for a visit I have never waited more than 20 minutes EVER..... My only complaints are that after Dr Duncan did my surgery I never laid eyes on him again and havent since....I just kind of would have like him to check on me in place of his team..... Each follow up visit was with his nurse and the nutritionist....never an actual doctor has been seen....of course I havent had any issues and have been blessed. Best of luck to your family...many wishes.

Thanks Pam, so far only one person has complained about that group so my thinking that is pretty dang good. Now if the company my son works for would just get rid of the exclusion she could get on with this.  I think Dr Duncan is not doing much of the surgery anymore from what I read..he is doing plastic surg or learning it, I read from one of the post. I do appreciate you answering, It gives us one more reason to use that set of doctors. She is going along like there is no problem with insurance and attending the free seminar this weekend so that when it is covered she might can get it done quicker. Thanks again Pam for the best wishes and luck.

I also want to comment, I had Dr. Duncan and Dr. Rashid saw me in the hospital as well (I LOVE HER, she is AWESOME!!). I am a Support Group Leader now, and was really successful in my weight loss, and I must say that I attribute a lot of it to the mind-set that Dr. Duncan instills in his patients. His concept is one of "Quality of Life," not just being thin, and definitely of improving your health. He believes in changing your life for your lifetime, and expects you to commit to it for the rest of your life. He really expects each and every one of his patients to very seriously commit not only to the surgery, but to the exercise and the change in their nutrition and health. I still remember a lot of the things he taught me, and really like that he is a perfectionist who is concerned about improving the quality of life of his patients, not the bottom line of his pocket. I mean, if he was, he could be doing things a lot differently....but he isn't. He is a man with a mission, and when you meet him, you can tell. I am not saying he is more than human, no person is, and his practice may not be perfect, everyone has their own experiences, but if you go to him, and follow his instructions, you will succeed and have continued success.

And, since you are in Atlanta, if you are anywhere the Gwinnett area, I invite you to our meetings!

This practice is AMAZING!! Dr Duncan is only doing cash patients from what I hear his schedule is hectic.  I had all three Dr's see me at one point or another and they all have great compassion & bed side manner.  I find the staff to be extremly helpful as well. I am 2 yrs out and lost 120 pounds.  Dr. Duncan is actually focusing on doing Plastic Surgery.  He will be doing my Tummy Tuck on 01/02/08.  I was quoted $10,000 last year by another Plastic Surgeon Dr Duncan only is charging $6500 which is GREAT since I have been trying for over a year for Insurance to pay and finally have given up.  Sometimes you just have to say to hectic with it and pull out the credit card.  Plus I have to up most trust in him since he did my original surgery.   Best of Luck!
