Exactly 4 weeks out and 17 pounds down!
Hello! I thought I'd give an update. I had surgery on 8/31. Stayed an extra few days because of restriction issues. The transition from liquids to solids was a little slower than some and well in the meantime I've lost 17 pounds as a result. I weighed in at 259 at my initial meeting on 7/18. On the day of surgery I was 246. I woke up today at 229. I am officially the lowest I've been in 10 years! I made it down to 230 years ago but never got below the 230 mark. I did it this morning! Woohoo!
I'm still eating very miniscule amounts compared to the past and since I'm still losing I'm not really looking at a fill, yet. I'm sure I will but so far, I'm not hungry, I eat for health and haven't gagged on anything for 2 weeks. I'm a little nervous about getting a fill because I had severe restriction immediately after surgery, but it did go down.
I can officially say I love the band right now!
