Hi! I'm new here, my name is Lucy and I am hoping to have the lap band surgery. I am looking to get some information about what the post surgery life is like for people who have had this procedure. Also, I was wondering if anyone on this forum had their lap band procedure with Dr. Gorjala from Surgery South.  Thanks! Lucy

Hi Lucy, Welcome.  I did not have the lap band but I live near you and there are several people that have had or are scheduled to have the lap bad from Dr Gorjala that attend my support group on the 4th Tuesday of every month at Henry Medical Center.

Not having a lapband...but thought I would say welcome to the board.

I didn't have the LAP Band but wanted to say hello!  I had the RNY and absolutely love it!  Whatever procedure you decide... I wish you the very best during your weightloss journey! Hugs, Judy
