I HAVE A DATE
HI ALL I WILL BE HAVING WLS ON OCT. 17 2007 I NEED ALL THE SUPPORT I CAN GET I GO TO THE SUPPORT GROUPS AT THE WELLNESS CENTER AT ATLANTA MEDICAL. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE HERE IS AN ANGEL I HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR AWHILE AND NO ONE HAS RESPONDED I HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU SOON! !

I live in Atlanta and will be having my surgery done in November. I expect to get the specific date next week. (I have insurance company approval). I will be having my surgery in Marietta with Dr. Dennis Smith. Atl Med. Ctr is closer but I am having the Gastric Sleeve surgery and Dr. Smith is the only one that does it laproscopically.
I am excited and a little apprehensive because I am a bulk eater. I dine out frequently, I eat fast and a lot. I have been trying to slow down and chew my food more but its been a challenge. I realize that if I follow the procedures laid out by the physician and exercise and stop eating the fatty foods I will do well but its hard breaking old habits One things for sure. We are not in this alone. God is always with us and loves us no matter how much we weigh.

I am having surgery Oct. 22nd so I know that nervous/excited feeling. I will keep you in my prayers! Sorry, I can't tell you how to get an angel because I am not sure myself. Keep me posted on your progress!

Congratulations on your date. Isn't it exciting? I won't be able to visit you in the hospital but I will gladly call you while you are there to check up on you and post to everyone to let them know how you are doing. I already have a girl scout meeting scheduled for that evening and I work that day. Good luck.
