Some people just plain suck!

I was just reading my guestbook on my personal webpage (you can get the address from my profile!) and I come to realize that some people can be just plain MEAN! I know that there are people that don't understand morbid obesity, but do they have to treat those of us who suffer from the disease like we are less than human? Ignorance really MUST be bliss. This guy posted that he has exercised for decades and that he has denied himself certain foods... and that HE could "cure" me if I let him handle my calorie intake. I have been on an 800 calorie dietfor 2 months now and I have only lost 19 pounds. What does he think he is going to "cure"?  I'm sorry for venting to you guys. But if I didn't have ya'll, I would have given up by now. I guess we all just have our days. Thanks for listening! Chelle

What an A-Hole!!!!  How dare he tell you that!!!!  Is he just trying to be mean or trying to make some money?

I think he was just trying to be down-right mean. It's sad to know that there are people like that in this world. People who get satisfaction by picking on others.  Maybe he wasn't hugged as a child, lol. It's all good though. I am a better person than him. He just struck a nerve when he wrote that. , Chelle

Hiya Girlie...First I wanna say I MISSSSSS YOU lol second tell the jerk to have a Coke and A smile...  I went to see my  dad over the weekend and he looks so bad.. he has lost his hair :( yep from the treatments .. he said to tell you guys hello. He cried when he saw me ... of course that made me cry. He was proud of my loss so far.. he had to look at me twice before it hit him who i was ... lol he said the same thing you did.. abot being half the person i use to be... anyways just wanted to share .. email me i saw roberta too  lol [email protected] huggies Tammie

I work with a guy like that...he is a real life internet troll...and you know what...he hasn't a friend in the world he can depend on aside from his dog and his mother.... He has lost alot of weight and he did it with diet and exercise.....but he's a total jerk about it and has that whole "get over it" attitude.... You have lots of  friends who care about you and family as well.  So when someone is mean...just remember that they are probably really unhappy with themselves....and the only way they can make themself feel  better is by picking on someone that they think is better than them. I am a big believer in Karma (you know, what goes around, comes around) and he will reap what he sews. Tammi, I am sending prayers your dad's way. I have always liked him. There is nothing fake about him, he is true about who he is and how he feels and he don't care who knows it, lol! He has an honest and very large heart, and that is what will get him and ya'll through this time. I just found out that my mother is on chemotherapy medication for a disease that she has that isn't even cancer. She had to cancel a trip to Texas at the end of this month because her hair is falling out and she has blisters all over her body. She is miserable. But your dad just has that happy-go-lucky attitude that keeps him feeling better. My mom just has a pity party and she feels 10 times worse. Maybe we need to get them 2 together for coffee or something, lol! I love ya, girlie! And I miss you sooooooooo much! Loves to all! Chelle
