Want Lap band, but must pay out of pocket...

Since I have to pay out of pocket, does anyone know of a reputable surgeon who will perform the lap band procedure at a reasonable price? Thanks.

i looked all thru GA and the cheepest and best i could find was in Mexico .....i was super afraid to go but once i did some research i knew i made the right choice ...and it is about half the price than in GA and the doc have been doig the lap band for much longer than the US docs Laura

What about after-care?  My main concern with going South of the Border is what happens once I get home.  Is the cost that I will incur in after-care going to equal out the surgery here in the states?  I have found a place in Chattanooga that will do it for $13,800, and possible lesser than that.
