CandyG needs our love and support

Hi everyone, Candy G had some bad news the other day.  She is not up to posting it but has given me permission  to tell you and ask for your support.  She finally heard back from the surgeon's office and she has been denied.  She has already started to work on her appeal.  The reaons they gave her were:  rule out an ulcer (she has endoscopy scheduled), rule out Thyroid (she has ultrasound scheduled), no enough diet history in last 12 months, and the fact that she is on prozac (not sure why this matters).   Let's all show her some love and support.  You know I love you Candy. 

Pat, I’m sad & sorry to hear that those DA!! Insurance  company make sick excuse my French!! She need fight and  never give up it will happen for her,  my insurance United Health Care denied me at first  said I did not have 5 years Dr documentation stating I been battling with obesity.   I contacted  every Dr I ever went too to get my weigh in progress note that was documented  from each visit,  Tracy  my insurance coordinator at Dr Duncan office  sent it in on appeal I few weeks later I was approve. I never gave up I was determine if I was denied again I would continue to fight or the following year I would have just switch insurance doing enrollment  either way I was going to have the surgery  to be healthy I  was Blood pressure medication borderline diabetic enough was enough  I’ll keep her on my prayer. She will won this battle is not over yet.  Kay.

 

Hi Pat,   I know how CandyG feels. Renee fought a hard and long battle ( 10 yrs) to have surgery. She had to go through a lot of hoops and loops and then some to get approved to have surgery.. but in the end she said  and continues to say , it was worth the wait and  we aint seen nothing yet..  She is on her way..    Give CandyG our love and a big hug from both of us.. we both understand her sadness and her frustrations right now. I know that when things don't seem to go the way I think they should go, I pray about them. God's timing is usually right, and when it is God's timing,  all the things necessary for approval start falling into place and the hassles are greatly lessened.    Anyway, regardless, let CandyG know she is loved and cared about, and we are truly sorry about her denial and will be praying that her appeal will go through on the first appeal. HI Pat, Please let Candy C. know that what seems to be a set back is just a minor delay it will work out for her good. Fight that insurance company with everything within her.Tell her that anything worth having is well worth fighting for and all\ways BE BLESSED.
