Drs. who accept medicare

Hi, I  have been coming to the boards since 2002 and usually just read the post. I was wondering if anyone could help with info on bariatric surgeons in georgia, possibly in Augusta, or macon if possiblle that accept medicare. Any info would be greatly appreciated. the dr. I was going to use no longer accepts medicare. I have been trying to get this surgery since early 2002 and  could use all the help I can get. Thanks, Lisa

Dr. Titus Duncan accepts medicare and does not charge any upfront fees..A lot of mds say they accept medicare , but they charge you from 1000- 3000 upfront... Dr. Duncan does not.. They are an "Excellence  Center", and mediare honors them , ao go for it... Trisha
