Ok, it has been almost a month since my life saving surgery. I have not yet dumped or got sick at all, but right now, here it is at 2:12 am in the morning and I was awaken by Saliva coming in waves in my mouth.....or frothing.....if you will...I dont really feel "sick" but it is a bother to me. I know the paper work says it is normal and not to worry but why now?? I have done so good and I did not do anything different yesterday.....ahhh this is a mess......any thoughts on it?? I hope it will stop soon......

This too shall pass in time. Frothing, sometimes, happens, and doesn't last forever. Pleasant... no. Dangerous... I don't think so.   I don't know of anything you can do to lessen it, or make it go away faster, just a bit of patience.  Hang in there.. it will get better.. and yes, you are doing fabulous, my friend.
peachy hugs,

Thank you guys!! I am better now, not as much coming out thank goodness. I know it is normal but I did not know it could just come on me like that. It had been about 8 hours since I had ate any food. I had a lil water before turning in around 10 pm though so maybe that is what caused it?? The last time I ate was yesterday at about 6pm, and all I had was a soft boiled egg with a tiny bit of mayo..and that is it. Thanks for your response. Talk to ya later...Renee

I hate frothing, or as my husdand puts it foaming at the mouth.  I know for me it happens whenever it happens.  Be patient and it does get better.  BTW, on your loss!

Thank you Cynde, I do appreciate it. Yes I am fine now, that episode lasted about 6 hours then it was gone and I still have no idea why it happened out of the blue like that. It had been about 8 hours after I ate a boiled egg and it was too weird. The only thing that I can imagine is that maybe I ate too fast or something and it had a delayed reaction?? I hope it will be a long time before I have another time like that. Thanks again. Renee

Ya know, thinking about it, it seems to me that when I foam at the mouth, it is after I have eaten way to fast. Usually, if I am dumping, I will get nauseas, sweating, short tempered, tired, and I suppose frothy as well.  Just remember to take it slow and easy, which is hard as heck to do sometimes. Cynde
