I need some info...

I have an appointment on Wednesday to have my hernia looked at by a doctor down here in Ga.  Does anyone have Dr Scott D Steinberg in Decatur Ga?  If so, I am looking for any info on him.  I just would like to know what to expect.  I am hoping he can repair my hernia as well as remove my panni since I have had some SERIOUS complications with it since my RNY in 2004.   Thanks in advance!! Hey! I'm #1 in his fan club! He did my surgery almost 4 years ago. He's a great surgeon with a great bedside manner. I don't think he'll do a panni, but you should have a PS do that. His partner Dr Appel did them (retired), but to be honest...you'd get better results from someone skilled more in that area. Sometimes they can do those hernia repairs (steinberg) and then the PS comes in and "finishes up."

Unfortunately, I am in need of this hernia repair kinda soon.  I was just hoping to have it all done at one time being that it is a serious problem for me with the panni.  I need it removed because I have had serious bacterial infections there in the past and then back in March I had MRSA there that just was slow to go away because of the fact it would not stay dry there.  I will find out what the doctor thinks and hopefully can get both done somehow!
