New to Atlanta area: need GB-aware PCP that takes BCBS of IL

Hey Y'all!  I'm nearly 7 years post-op from my Roux-en-Y GB (Oct 20, 2000) and I've recently moved to the NE Atlanta area from (briefly San Diego) the Denver, CO area.   I'm in Stone Mountain and I need to find a PCP (either GP or Internist, I do admit to a female bias -- they do own the same model as I happen to be -- but am not opposed to giving a truly good male MD a chance to convice me otherwise).   I've moved quite a few times since my GB, and each time I've drawn the "honor" of being my new PCP's first GB patient.  Yup, each time was a learning experience for both of us. Now that I need a new PCP again, I'd like to find one with a good track record in dealing with the staple post-op issues like anemia, muscle cramping when you're not doing anything, ongoing nutritional monitoring, post-op monitoring (staple site leakage that goes undiagnosed because one is unaccustomed to having that be a possibility can lead to some very nasty stuff!!) and you know the drill. Can anyone recommend a good PCP? Particularly someone around the eastern side outside the Perimeter, say Norcross to Decatur?  Thanks bunches!!!

I would recommend Dr Michelle Todd in Alpharetta.  She is WONDERFUL!!  I think the practice is Perimeter North Family Medicine and I know that they have other offices - but she is in Alpharetta. 3400 Old Milton Parkway Building A Suite 130 Alpharetta GA 30005

Thanks so much! I will definitely give her office a call and see if she takes my insurance and is accepting new patients.  Very much appreciated!
