Your pouch may have strached some. But I would not think that it is too far. Like I said I would try and go back to the basic and see what happens. I would also try drinking more protien drinks and see if that would help as well, and then make sure that you are drinking at least 100 oz of water a day. My doctor said that if I felt hunger to drink water and that would help me stay on track. Let me know if this helps. Hug's

Hello,

I am 6 years out.  And it is very easy to gain weight.....I feel I am just like anyone else....if I eat to much, don't get my fluids in, and don't exericise I gain weight.  Are you exercising?  Also it is important to eat 3 meals a day.  It keeps your metabolism going.   Are you getting your protein in?  At least 60 grams a day.  If you eat lean protein instead of protein drinks it makes you feel full longer.  Back to basics mean..... lean protein first, then veggies, fruit and if there is any room left a carb.  I choose not to eat bread, rice, pasta, potatoes or sugar.  It helps me maintain my weight and I have not eaten it in 6 years.  Remember the surgery is a tool and we have to use it as such.   I don't mean to scare you......but if you start gaining weight at 3 years and don't get back on track in  6 or 8 years you could be back or near where you started.  I have seen it many times in people that had the surgery the same time as me.  It is not easy.....we all know that.....but you CAN DO IT!!!!! YOU CAN GET THE 20 LBS OFF AND KEEP IT OFF.  It is so important to go to support group too.  Find one near you and go...... Take care,  Ginger
