Update, Renee Brooks
Hello,
I took Renee to Atlanta on Saturday, so she could do her pre op preps and spend time with Lori from Virginia , who flew down to be with Renee, before , and after her surgery.
She had lap RNY with Dr Hobson at Atlanta Medical Center yesterday and is doing really well. She had a few rough moments in the afternoon, and during the night. Today , she is feeling a bit stronger, and said she was up walking every few hours, and feels stronger. She is now awaiting the results of her leak test, and some liquids. If all goes well, she could possibly go home this afternoon or in the morning.
I am looking forward to supporting Renee, and watching her shrink and realize her goals and dreams .
Pat, and Jeannie, thank you for coming by to visit Renee yesterday afternoon.. it was great getting to meet you both, and I will do my best to attend some of the support meetings at Henry Medical Center, and bring Renee when she feels up to going.
Thanks for all the prayers and support for Renee from this board , and also for Renee Burgess as well.
