Long term post op/ Georgia resident
I am almost 7 years post op from an open proximal RNY in Dec 2000. However, due to some major complications, I had 2 revision surgeries, April 2001 and Feb 2002. I was revised to a 60 in distal RNY along with a reconstruction of my pouch in Feb 2002 in WA state.
I am good friends with Renee Brooks, who is having her RNY surgery at Atlanta Medical Center, later on today, July 9. I would appreciate all prayers for her and the other two ladies having surgery today in Georgia..

It was really nice to meet you this evening. I really think that Renee really looked good and her spirits are really good. I hope to be able to see more of the both of you as she starts her NEW JOURNEY.
