OT:******* GA?

Hello from Ky!  I thought I'd drop in on u guys for a little Georgia info. I'm thinking about driving down to ******* GA to purchase a car next week.  I wanted to get some info about ******* GA if any of u r from there or have been thru there. I'm coming from Elizabethtown Ky, down thru Nashville Tn and Chattanooga (sp?). Is ******* a big city? I won't have to go thur Atlanta will I? I believe the car lot said they were north of Atlanta.  If u r from ******* do u know anything about A & G Car Sales of ******* I've been searching on autotrader.com since our car accident for a good, used car and I love one I found down there. I'm just nervous about traveling 7 hours to buy a used car, but if its a good dependable one, the price is totally worth it. Thanks for any info Angela R Elizabethtown Ky

I am on the south side of Atlanta but I looked it up on mapquest.com and it shows that you don't go into the city at all.  It doesn't look like you will be going through any heavy traffic areas either.    It appears to be a very small town.  it only shows a population of  4,200 people and it is 5.9 square miles. Cool! Elizabethtown is a small town, maybe not as small as ******* sounds but not as big as Nashville and no where as big as Atlanta. I get nervous driving thru big citys. Thanks again!

Hi Angela,   I live in north GA, not too far from *******s.  Have been there many times.  I don't want to scare you, but I feel sure you will be hitting some heavy traffic to get there.  Yes, *******s is a small place but it is more like an extension of Atlanta, or like a bedroom community.  You won't be driving thru downtown Atlanta, but it's  a busy area anyway.  I'm not familiar with the car place you mentioned but I hope it all works out for you.  We're a friendly bunch down here in GA. so ya'll come on down!

Thats ok. As long as there isn't several lanes going in the same directions lol I'll be fine. I'm not sure what time we'll even be getting there. I was wanting to leave Ky around 4am but it looks like we won't be leaving till 9am or so. We'll probably stay the night somewhere down in that area and head back Friday morning. I hope it works out too. Anytime u buy used u r taking a gamble.  I don't want to be selfish and use the whole accident settlement on a new car. There are other things that I want to get for the whole family. Hopefully it'll all work out.  Thanks again and unless something happens I'll be in Georgia Thurs and Friday of next week. Angela
