Payment help

Evening all! I am trying to figure out what to do, and need ya'll's help if you can... I have Blue Cross POS (and boy, do they mean it...) I am wanting to have the Lap RNY, but just found out that it is excluded in my benefits. I can not pay self pay, and I have applied to as many credit companies as I can find and have been turned down by all of them. Do any of you know of a Doctor that will let you make payments to them, or do any of you have any rich friends? LOL! Do you know of any insurance companies in Georgia that I can switch to that cover this surgery if my doctor has said it is medically necessary? I have a BMI of 42 with high blood pressure. My doctor said he would refer me to whoever I was comfortable with. Any ideas? Thanks! Michelle

Did you get my message ? In case you did not my insurance carrier is medicaid  i also had bcbs they denided me to . So my doctor help me to get medicaid because it  was medically necessary  . PS.  Sorry for the miss spelled words was in a hurry and i added you as a friend

Thanks Faith! And congrats on getting approved! I am appealing with Blue Cross right now, just to say that I did. If they still refuse, I will go the medicaid route.
