Hi Kay, I am just a little ahead of you time wise.  My surgery was with Dr Hobson on 3/22.   I go to 3 different support groups.  I find something different at each one.  And new friends too. As for the rest room breaks.  They say you don't use it very often at all in the beginning.  I sometimes only go twice a day.  And at times I make myself go in the middle if I am going to be going somewhere.  And of course, I drink a lot of fluids.  LOL.   I am not sure I want to talk about plateaus.  I have been at one since the first week in May.  Haven't lost a pound.  BUT I HAVE lost an amazing 60 pounds since starting this process.  Yes, I count the before weight (14#) because if I hadn't had the surgery not only would I have regained it all, I would have gained even more.  You know how that cycle works.  I tell myself I had the surgery to get healthier and losing wieght is a nice side effect.   And they also say you don't lose wieght when you are losing inches and I have found that although I am not losing pounds my inches are moving down.    Good luck to you and I hope to hear more form you soon.

30 lbs is great. Keep doing the right stuff and the scale will start moving again. I have had 2 stalls in 5 months. They both have lasted about 2 weeks each and somehow I have manage to lose 92 lbs. If you don't work out, try walking a little bit everyday. How are your bowel movements? Are you getting enough rest?  Good luck and try not to get depressed.
