OH NO!  Maybe you can post a separate message to see if you can get a ride with someone else.  There isn't anything going on Sunday.  I think some people are staying over Saturday night.  I know there are some people coming from your area so post a message and see if you can happen to get a ride up.

Hi Amy, I will be there with bells on.  can't wait  I love the support i get from obesity, I don't anyone that really support this journey with me, except for the love that i get on this site I wouldn't miss this event, I don’t live far, I would love to help anyone that needs it whether is a ride there or a place to stay for the event count me in. Hey Amy, thank you dear for everything that you have done for me on OH and in the past. I really cannot wait to meet you girl. You have been my rock when things looked down and so bleak. I hope that I can somehow return the favor to you one day or maybe just to someone who needs a friend to listen as you have done for me. I hope for alot of smiles from all the wonderful people here on the board. Is the owner of O.H. gonna be at the meeting? I would love to meet him too. I'm not sure if Eric the founder will be at the conference.  I'll see what I can find out.  I cannot wait to meet you.  It's been a long time coming! I'm glad that I was able to help give you some encouragement along the way.

Amy Sorry to hear about your grandmother.  Hope you are doing better. I am also sorry I missed the meeting but I was in Boston handeling my own crisis with my daughter and grand-daughter.  I have passed your site on to members of the Advanced Obesity site and they also have learned much from it.   I have gotten all my pre op and was ready to set a surgery date with Dr Smith and was told that he no longer takes medicare, so I am now searching for another doctor.  I wanted to have the DS, but it looks like their are no medicare approved providers in Georgia that do the DS.  I would be will to travel a reasonable distance but am not having much luck finding that either.  Any suggestions? And how was the meeting.    Bernadette
