OT...family prayers needed

Needing some extra prayers for me and my family... I had my LBL on June 10, and as we all know pain meds and BM's are not conducive...finally had one on June 17 by doing an enema. Then I developed an incision opening and the Dr put me on antibiotics that has a major side effect of diarreha. Well, if that was not enough, because of the straining trying to have that first BM, I now have a major case of hemmorroids (probably thrombosed) which cropped up early Friday afternoon of this weekend. Well, you know who I am going to be calling first thing Tuesday morning...my rectal dr. Now for my family...My Dad was driving Saturday afternoon, and had an accident. My Mom was in the car with him, and the passenger's side was the point of impact. My Mom has moderate dementia and has also had one stroke back in December 2005. Until now, they have been able to continue living in their home, but not sure if they can in the future. The accident has definitely made Mom's dementia worse, and it also brought on some physical problems as well (her strength...which was limited before this, and her walking ability). Please keep all of us in your prayers. Norma

Hi Norma, I am so sorry to hear about your parents and I will certainly keep them in my thoughts and prayers. I will pray that God will put a hedge of protection around them. As for yourself, please be careful to rest and not to strain. I have had so many surgeries and I too, can relate to the constipation issues as every time I have foot surgery I go on that and have the same problems. I will keep you in my prayers as well.
