Update on my rough day

Hi Pat.... I for one, know all about post op complications and  slow leaks because it almost killed me. I live near you and if transfer your script to my Fayetteville Walmart I will pay for it to be filled so that you can have your meds and hopefully a nice calm weekend. Thank you Wanda.  I sure did miss you at the meeting.  Did you here that Obesity Help is having a conference here in Atlanta in September?  That will be so cool.  I will talk with you soon.

Beth (from our support groups--Thank you Beth!) gave me a few samples of the med I wasn't able to fill.  It does seem to be helping.  I was able to eat some chicken salad yesterday, without any pain or vomiting.  I am not nearly as weak as I was and have only had a couple of dizzy spells in the last 24 hours.  I see Hobson on Tuesday.  Lori called me Friday night to see if I felt any better.  As if it was all going away.  She seems to think the worst of my problems are the pain and daily vomiting but I keep telling her that the blood concerns me more then anything else.  Today I noticed severe edema in my legs.  I will take on of my water pills and see if that doesn't help. Did you hear that OH is having a convention here in ATl in Sept?  Are you going to go to Nashville?  If you go I will too.  Marvin doesn't have to go if he doesn't want to although I think he is a cool guy.  He is just so supportive of you.   Take care, Hugs, Pat

I hope things go good on Tuesday.  I feel sure Hobson will listen and understand that the blood is what you are concerned about--as you should be. I have decided not to go to Nashville--I cancelled my room reservation.  Yes, I heard that OH is to be in Atlanta in Sept.   

If I had read up or maybe if you called me, I could have told Dr Duncan and Lori while I was at the seminar.  I feel bad that there is nothing I can do for you at this time, but pray.  You have done soooo much for Candy and I.  Candy sends her love and prayers as well. Call me if you need anything!

Hi Nicole, Don't feel badly.  There is nothing you can do aside from your thoughts and prayers.  I have been in contact with Lori and see Dr Hobson on Tuesday (tomorrow).  I am feeling a litlle stronger.  The bleeding is very small.  The meds they gave me seems to be helping the pain and vomiting I was having.  I had no pain or vomiting on Saturday or Sunday but this morning I had quite a bit and this evening wasn't a lot better.  I am going to be fine.   You take care of yourself and tell Candy hi from me.  Call me during the day tomorrow if you can.  Between 11 and 2 would be best for me.
