hello...update

Alright, at the last SSWLS support Group, Pat and Jeannie made me feel bad for not being around so much on the board.  :)  So, I"m going to try...yet again...to be more active.  I see lots of views...so, that tells me there are a lot of lurkers out there.  You guys "show" yourselves....we want to get to know you! Anyway, most of my story is on my profile...I won't bore you with the details.  My biggest news that most of you know is that I'm 4 1/2 months pregnant.  We hope to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl on June 1st...so, I'll keep you updated.  WE have a 5 year old son...who is SO EXCITED to be a big brother...he can't stand it.  It is really cute.   I had surgery on 8/24/2005 and lost 160 pounds.  I have since gained about 12 with the pregnancy...not too bad, in my opinion.  I was 350+ at the end of the first pregnancy....not fun at all! Anyway, I just wanted to say hello to those I haven't met and hello to those old friends out there.  Tell me about yourselves....

Hello Stephanie,  I'm glad to see that you are here and maybe we can get everyone started again. I have some news to tell you. Pat128 called me this afternoon and she said that she was on the way to the hospital. She was passing blood and Dr. Hobson said that she had to get to the hospital really fast. I'm really hoping that she is going to be OK. I'm going to try and call her later and check on her. Hug's  Jeannie

Hi Jennie,  Have you heard from Pat? She was doing so well. I hope that this is nothing serious.Please let me know when you find out about her. Hi Bluebutterfly,  Yes! I have talked with Pat and she is doing well right now. She has her grand-daughter with her. I asked her if she could see if she could stay the night with her and she said Yes, that made me feel better. I'm going to be checking on her tomorrow and see if she is OK. I will let you know what I find out. Jeannie

Stephanie- you look beautiful!!! You know I got pregnant about 10 months after the surgery. We have now a beautiful and healthy baby boy...although there was a nutrition related 'emergency' that almost killed him...(Those of you reading, don't get preg too soon after surgery!!!) I am so happy for you!!! Keep in touch, gorgeous!!! Gretchen
