Hello Everyone, I'm alive, LOL
Hi everyone. I miss you all dearly. Just wanted to drop in and say "Hello" My life has become such a whirlwind. I'm doing fine it's things that are going on with my daughter. She as some of you know have ADHD, ODD. She was diagnosed this past Feb. with Central Auditory Processing Disorder, & Receptive-Expressive Language Disorder, and we will find out in a few weeks or so if she has Hirschsprung's Disease (a disease of the intestines) This year was her last year in school due to the fact that the school won't do crap to help me or her, so I'm going to be a homeschool mom. I now have to take her 3 days a week for therapy, as soon as the visits are over there I'm going to purchase the products (earobics) to use at home, as well as other resources I have come across.
Anyway like I said I MISS YOU all, but my life is soooo busy now......How is everyone???
Melissa,
I miss you too !!! I am home right now recouperating from a LBL that I had on May 10, and I will be going back to work on June 1. So happy that I did it, but it is definitely not a 'cake walk'.
Sorry to hear about your daughter's problems continuing...BTW, recently met a man whose son has CAPS, and if you would like his email address I will be happy to pass it on to you...I hope that things will start to improve with her.
Love you....
Norma
Hey girl friend....
A LBL is a tummy tuck, upper thigh lift, outer thigh lift, butt lift, reposition the belly button, and lipo. Last night, my niece was looking at some pics that I had a girl friend make the night before my LBL, and she could not believe what my PS was able to do. Pre-op he had said that he would probably take off 8-10 pounds, but that it would like 30 pounds. He took off 9 pounds !!!
Oh, I had the 'girls' done last November, and I may have one more plastic surgery, but it will have to wait to September/October.
I will send you his email address to you privately.
Norma
Hi, Melissa...good to see you! I know you have a lot going on, but it sounds like you have a plan...that is GREAT. What do they do for the Disease she has? How old is your daughter? I'm sorry, I don't remember. As you can see, the GA board has gotten kind of quiet, but I think a lot of us are still here somewhere. Let me know if you need to chat. I don't know much about what you are going through, but I sure can listen. :) Take care of yourself and your family. She has a good mommy!
Thanks Stephanie,
Presleigh will be 8 tomorrow (May 26th) and for hirschsprungs disease, It's kinda like diverticulitis, they will have to take out the unhealthy part of the intestines and re attach. She has had a bowel problem since age 1 (as far as going regular). I'm waiting on them to contact me, they are going to have to give her a mild sedative to the the barrium enema.
Melissa
