Atlanta Bariatric

Has anyone used Atlanta Bariatric Surgery center at John's Creek? I am going tonight for the information seminar. Thanks!

Is that Dr. Hart? If so, I've known several people who used him and I've never heard anything but the BEST comments about him! Best of luck to you!

I have been seeing them since the beginning of March and everyone is wonderful! I am still working my way through the process and I will be there tonight as well. I have met both doctors and they are very reassuring and pleasant. The office staff is professional and helpful. I met with several other places but I felt this was the best place for me. Dr. Hart was my surgen and he was wonderful. I also used him as my surgen to remove a lump in my boob and he also fixed my hernia

Now how's that for reassurance that i'm supposed to be here.....my first time on here, I JUST registered and my doctor is going to be Dr. Hart....I dont get to go to the meeting until June 6th, but this post made me feel great about the doctor I will be using. I'm just starting my process and have to do all 6 months of my "diet". I'm so glad to hear they are great! The girl on the phone talked to me for 20 min. yesterday and was SO kind and knowledgeable.

I just had surgery on 4/17 with Dr. Hart at Emory John's Creek. He is a wonderful doctor. I drove over 2 hours one way to use him as my doctor. Emory John's Creek hospital was wonderful. I have never been in the hospital but they made me feel as though I was their only patient. Dr. Hart doesn't do a group information seminar...so are you using Dr. Williams? The only dr's that use Atlanta Bariatric center @ Emory John's Creek is...Dr. Hart, Dr. Johnson ( they are in 1 office) and Dr. Williams. Also the bariatric cordinator at the hospital had gastric bypass 5 years ago and has lost and kept off 135lbs. So they are very knowledgeable. They give you this great terry cloth robe to take home with you and use while your there. If you have any other questions I'd be happy to answer them for you. Tracy

Hey Tracy, Dr Hart and Johnson have been doing a group seminar for about 3 months or so now. It is right after the support group meeting the first Wednesday of the month and they also have them in the office. Hope you are doing well! Marie

Hi, We keep it in the family, 3 of us have used Dr Hart. I had rny surgery 12/03 at Northside hospital. My sister had surgery with him at Emory Dunwoody 06/06 also rny. My niece had surgery also at Emory Dunwoody 08/06 but she had the lap band. Another sister and cousin are also thinking about surgery and have contacted his office. Good luck in your journey! Marie
