I have been so busy...

I have been pretty busy since the last time I posted. I have changed doctors! Dr. Smith's office was too hard to deal with, they never returned phone calls and never sent my insurance what they needed. I changed doctors to Dr. John Daly. I have learned more in one phone call with Carolyn then in 6 phone calls with Dr. smith's office. Anyway I think I have everything set up that I need to do before I see Dr. Daly on May 4th. Psychological eval. Nutritionist Gallbladder ultrasound Medical clearance from PCP Cardiac clearance from pulmonary specialist bloodwork letter from me to insurance letter from OB/GYN about support letter from family about support I hope I have just about everything I will need. The upper G.I. will be a little later. I am having a hard time getting an appointment sooner than May 30th. Is there anything else I need to do to be prepared tosee Dr. Daly and get my insurance to pre-approve me?

Hi Laura, I want to wish you luck now that you seem to be a productive path to your future. You seem to have thought of about everything but I don have one question. How do you get a cardiac clearence from a pulmonary doctor? For my surgery I needed a cardiac clearance and then a pulmonary(lung) clearance. Just thought you might like to check so nothing is forgotten. Good luck.
