Lap Band Surgery 04/25/07

Well I guess it is official.....I am having surgery on the 25th of April. I have spoke with Dr Macik office and this is the date they have given me. The only thing I dont like is my time is at 1:30. I will be VERY thirsty by that time I am sure. If anyone else has had surgery with Dr Macik I do have a few questions: 1. Where did he put the port at on your body? 2. Did you have really good pain meds while in the hospital? (ie:Iv meds, PCA pump, or what)?????? 3. Did you have satisfaction with Northside Hospital?????

well i did not have Dr Macik but i can tell you usually your port is on your left hand side ...Mine is high by my ribs but i am not sure were he will put yours ..... sorry that is all the info i have for ya. good luck let us know how you do. Laura PS The pain is not all that bad really .......
