6 years out and Life is so Good!!!!
March 27, 2007, my 6 year anniversary. I am so, so happy that I had gastric bypass RNY 6 years ago. It changed my life so much. I now live life instead of watching it pass by me. I feel better at 46 than I did at 25.
I just wanted to let everyone know, you can get to your weight loss goal and maintain it. You just have to be compliant, listen to your surgeon and exercise, it is so important.
I Remember when I was a young girl......I dreamed of being thin and having long blonde hair......well my dreams have come true.....in my 40's but hey I will take it! (smile)
I wish you well on your weight loss journey.

Wonderful to hear from someone 6 years out. Congrats!! I read your profile. I have an appointment with Dr Lawrence to see about my arms next week. I hope she will take me as a patient. I had TT/BL/BA in November. My breast is okay, but TT is not great. That surgeon talks of doing a revision on the TT. I am to see him in May. He is a 'famous' PS, but my work is not great. Sometimes doctors do not want to take another doc's patients, so I will have to see what Lawrence says. Dr Lawrence was recommended to my by my GYN. Wish I had talked to my GYN and you first. Oh well, live and learn.
You look wonderful. Thanks for your post.
