Have problem need info

I am two years post op and I am having pain in my stomach area and believe that the old stomach is not working properly. Two weeks after surgery I had a similar event and the doctor's placed a drain tube to relieve fluids. I was wondering has anybody had this happen to them two years or more after the original surgery? I have a doctor's appointment but the earliest appointment is not until April 11. Thanks, Martha

2+ weeks may be toooooooo long too wait to see the dr....If the pain gets too severe......you may need to go to the ER...at about 10 months I started experiencing severe tummy pain....went to the ER, they did a CT scan, turns out I had a partially blocked bowel obstruction, and had surgery the next day. Thanks Norma, I'm in Columbus and my Dr is in Atlanta.....so if it gets to bad to handle I will be going to the ER. Martha
