Trying to get info
Hi Sandra,
Dr Williams did my WLS surgery, and I am very happy that I chose him for my surgeon...I did have one complication approx 10 months post op...the initial diagnosis was that I had a partially blocked bowel obstruction, which turned out to be scar tissue. Scar tissue can happen at any time and Dr Williams also did that surgery. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose him.

Sandra,
I'm not one of Dr. Williams patients but I will be having my surgery on April 17th @ Emory Johns Creek with Dr. Hart. Emory Johns Creek is brand new just opened up on Feb 5. From my experience there already they seems to be a great bunch of people working there. The hospital is very nice. If my surgery date is before yours I'll let you know when I get out how it was.

Sandra,
One more thing...a lot of the nursing staff etc came to Emory John's Creek from Emory Dunwoody (which is where I had my surgery...1st and 2nd). There nursing staff is totally wonderful....do remember good things about the 1st surgery (WLS), but remember more stuff about the 2nd surgery (the emergency one)...since I was basically hanging out all morning long waiting on my surgery....And be sure to take a shower in their shower room.......it is wonderful and to die for !!!!!
