Hi Everyone! I had RNY 5/2004 and lost about 110 lbs. Went From 332 to about 224-5. I cannot get any lower. I hear a lot about a Dr. Celio Burrowes in Atlanta who specializes in a Fobi Revision Pouch for Gastric Bypass Patients who want to get to their goal. The price is pretty affordable. Has anyone out there had this done - or do you know anything about this?

well i had RNY in 4/04 and called him to do a revision and he would not touch me ...Now that might be because my original doc was Duncan and i think they work together or on the same team or something liek that ...But i would have gone to him in a heatbeat if he would have seen me ...I have heard nothing but good things about him ...... By the way i ended up in Mexico and had a lap band put on ....loseing so slow but loseing so that is good i guess Laura

Duncan checked my pouch about six months ago and said the opening was too big. He talked about doing something called a 'spider' I think. At that time it had not been approved, but they were working on it. Last time I asked it was not approved yet. Anybody know anything about ???

I was wondering if the pouch stretched at all. Back when I had my surgery I ate so little and got full. Now after three years I am starting to feel hungry and can eat a bit more. I would like to get the fobi pouch put on so I can get below 200 lbs. Thanks for your response.

Not sure I want to be among the first either. I guess I am near enough to goal to not worry about a revision. I am scared to death I will gain back this weight. 262/130 5'1" RNY 3-11-2005

I was in the office yesterday. According to RN that processor is on the back burner. I guess, he is too busy learning how to be a PS. I am not interested in having it done now. I might need it some day--hope not.

Thanks for the info - I never quite made it to my goal - could not get below 200 ever. I am not unhappy with the surgery - I just need some help. Have you gotten below 200 lbs?
