Hey Everyone!!!
Amazing... Two years,and 7 months after my first surgery I have a surgery date for my revision!!!!
Let's All Do the HAPPY DANCE!!!
My insurance company approved it on the first submission which is incredible. In fact, this process was alot less stressful then the first time around.Since this revision procedure is not available in Georgia, I will be in Dayton, Ohio to have this done. It works out great as my family is there (Mom, In Laws, Brother, Sister in law)
My surgery date is June 4, 2007 at 7:15 AM. The procedure will be done at Miami Valley Hospital. I will be going up the week prior to complete all pre-op requirements, as well as final consultations. This revision process is called a distal roux en y of the small intestine- From what I understaind, I will still have my pouch, but this second procedure will have me functioning like a person who had a DS.
With this surgery,I know that I will be there approximately one month before I can even consider coming back to ATL...
As I approach departure, I can give you a bit more details!
Also VERY EXCITING NEWS- 
My husband Craig is about to become one of us....THATS RIGHT!!! Craig is scheduled for his GB on 3/13/07. I am soooo very excited for him. I was afraid that he would not go through with it after watching my experience. I tried to reassure him that I was a WEIRDO...and so, am going THANK GOD, he realized this and proceeded. It took him 2 years to finalize, but now it is all said and done. I am going to be coaching and helping him through this before I embark on my next journey.
I told him I was going to be SUPER JEALOUS because you know these men can lose that weight in no time, and look GOOD when its all done..Meanwhile us sista's have to keep on pushing...
Also- I added a recent family picture to my photo album. I had talked about Kelli and my Son Brandon so much, I realized many do not know what they look like. This was taken In Janauary at the Girl Scout Annual Father Daughter Dance. I hope you like it as much as we do...
Kelli had another surgery on February 16th, but so far has done well- We will see what the next step is when she has her post-op check on Wednesday.
This is a hectic time of the year for me (Girl Scout Leader and Service Unit Cookie Chair)- In Engli**** means being responsible for 4, 859 cases of Girl Scout Cookies through April...Shoot Me now and put me out of my misery!!!

I am so happy to hear that things are working out for you to have this procedure, and that you will get to your goal weight......
I had forgotten that you were very involved in Girl Scouts....tell me, is it tooooo late to give $$ to you for girl scout cookies for the soldiers overseas??? I had heard about this through one of the ladies at my work, but did not know who to contact....thanks!!!
