Please help...I need a post-op RNY Dr. in Atlanta or Norcross area

My duahter just moved to Norcross from Stockbridge. She had RNY done in India 12/15/06 and needs a doctor to take care of her post-op. She will travel if she needs to. If you have a name and number that would be great. She also suffers from depression and needs a good psychiatrist....she is having a hard time with eating and drinking anything, and her husband says she sleeps all the time. I'm going crazy because I can't do anything from here in Florida, and she is to the point she can't (won't) help herself. I was hoping to give her husband some names to make appointments with and get her to them. Thanks for ANY help......

Hi Cory, My name is Jeannie and I have a wonderful PCP that is ver advirsed with the WLS. she is really wonderful. I live in Stockbridge and my PCP is in Riverdale. I do not know of many doctors that will take care of you post op if someone else done the surgery. I will try and help you if I can. Hug's Jeannie

I don't know a PSYCHIATRIST...but I know a psychologist who deals with WLS folks...I've used him before-very smart and good! PM me if you want his info.

Cory, It is so wonderful of you to find your daughter a Dr here in Atlanta....my WLS Surgeon is Dr Michael Williams, and has recently moved his office from Marietta to North Point Mall area...and is WONDERFUL !!! He gave me back my life with WLS, and I did have to have emergency surgery when I was 10 months post-op...I had a partially blocked bowel obstruction caused by scar tissue.....I never knew scar tissue could hurt as bad as it did...was admitted to the hospital one night after the ER did preliminary testing that night and had the emergency surgery the next afternoon...I can not praise him enough...Please email me if you need more info.
