I am a teacher and have BlueChoice Healthcare Plan HMO. Does any one have a personal experience with this health plan? Will they cover any of the expense? Any help would be greatly appreciated. You my e-mail me at [email protected] Thanks

You need to call and check your carrier. Otherwise wls was made an exclusion as of 07-01-2005. Hugs, Janie

State employees are not covered. Sorry. Call anyways...but they stopped a year or 2 ago.

I had coverage first through BC/BS HMO then UHC for the SHBP and neither covered ANY expense. So, at open enrollment I had my husband drop me and got my own policy from my employer. As horrible as this may sound you have to know how to "play the game". (I'm a Medical Insurance Billing "Specialist") Good Luck!
