Seeking names of Internists in Metro Atlanta who are comfortable treating morbidly obese

I have been devastated recently by the lack of concern and thorough treatment of physicians to my health conditions because I am morbidly obese. I am asking members of Obesity.com of names of physicians (Internists) in the metro Atlanta, GA area, they currently use and are comfortable with who treat them with respect, consideration and who provide competent, thorough, unprejudiced medical treatment.

Vanessa, I dont have an internist to suggest, but my gyn is GREAT !! His name is Dr Jeffrey Marcus, and his offices are located on Johnson Ferry (in east Cobb) and also at Johns Creek area. Hugs, Norma

Hi, I was told by my OB/GYN that if my pcp wouldn't help me with wls that I needed to contact Barbara Biggs in Marietta 770-424-2226 . That she is very WLS friendly. Not sure if that is what your looking for but luckily for me my pcp decided he would help me with getting my wls. But if he hadn't I would have changed to her. I would offer you my pcp # but he isn't accepting any new patients at this time. But I would check her out for sure if she's in your area.
