Hello Everyone
Hi, I have noticed lately, that the names on the board have changed. I would like to get to know everyone a bit better. I'm not on this board as often as I should be. I apologize for that. It is difficult to find the time. But, I'm trying. Also, I'm wondering where the "old-timers" are?
By that I mean, the folks who have been here for years....Those of us who aren't posting, but I know we are out there.
So, let's all post a quick hello...tell me about your day...what is going on with you?
This board has lost some of its stamina....we need to pick it back up. Even if we are 1+ year out...we still need each other.

Hi
Stephanie...
Thank you for your post. My name is Crece Hare and I am almost six years out
. Although I have never been to any meeting, I still am here lurking
and reading as well as trying to keep up with everyone. Some know that I had a very rough start, but I am doing much better
. I hope to attend one of these meetings soon. I agree with you that, a lot of the old timers need to post as its always good to hear
how they are doing, as I don't mind sharing my experience but, mine is not
the norm. I just had my eleventh foot surgery
so I am re-cooperating as I
Soooo..... lets call out the old timers.
Thank You for your post and you have a nice day.
Crece

Hi, Stephanie,
I seem to have become more of a lurker lately, but I do occasionally answer relatve questions when I know the answers. I also post sometimes when info about the MGB (my surgery) is announced. I have had great results and have lost around 200 pounds.
I, too, have wondered were some of the folks who were on here a when I first started have gone. Maybe with their new lives, they're just busy. I have attended a couple of the get-togethers where I met some great people, but I have not ventured to the ones that are a good distance away. I'm going to try and become more adventurous in the future!

Hey Stephanie! Good to see you posting more lately!
I had surgery about 2.5 yrs ago....it will be three years in July.
I don't post much any more, but do lurk. I try to get back into the groove of posting, replying and updating my profile blog, but don't really have much to say. It's still the same....trying to maintain my weight, toggling back & forth 5-10 lbs., trying to obey the rules and suffering when I don't. I'm bad about my fluids in the winter, I am better in the summer. I'm sure you can relate.
James is still doing great. Maintaining his weight effortlessly. He has taken up golf and loves it.
We do hope to get to one of the get-togethers one of these days. James schedule is nuts still, so maybe one day soon.
Hugs,
Tonya

Hello Stephanie:
I am glad that you are doing well. I am about the same as you and everyone else that you are talking about, lurking is mostly what I have been doing this past year. I have not lost any this past year or gained any and March 7th will be my 2nd anniversary. I also have noticed that the ones that use to post often are busy with their new life. I am trying to get the last 50 lbs off and beading. My web site started running last week but I have plenty more to load up on it. Please take a look at www.marysuniquedesigns.com and past the word on. I hope to make it to one of the get togethers in the near future.
Thanks for posting and keep up the good work

*waving* Hey girl... I have been kinda lurking and kinda posting every once in awhile. I had my endoscopy yesterday and did in fact have a stricture so they did the dialation and now I am on carafate(god, I hate that stuff) and some other stomach stuff. I ate an EGG today for the first time in almost two years..it was YUMMMMMMY. Hopefully I am on the upswing. How are you and Derek?
