Hey there Bro Diamond, Jonesboro here...well I have lived in Jonesboro for about 17 yrs now. There are parts of Jonesboro that are really nice places, good neighboorhoods, good neighboors, and all around good location. However there are some places that are not good at all...and depending on what age your kids are you have to be selective on your location as well....I will say that if you have kids in elementary school the better schools here are Arnold Elementary, and Jackson..as for High School...the only one that I think is a decent one is Jonesboro High School..and for Middle I would say M.D. Roberts middle...alot of the High Schools have seem to become pretty gang oriented...but those are pretty decent schools...hopefully that would help narrow your search if you looked at houses that were in those school districts...but if you don't have school aged kids, then I guess it would be up to you...but all in all Jonesboro is really not a bad place to be...its one of the better counties in Clayton.....Rachel

Hi Bro. Diamond, Just wanted to ask you about what area are you moving to in Jonesboro. the reason is because I was raised there until I moved. But now I live only 5 mile from there. So all you have to do is ask me and I will try and help you all that I can. Hug's Jeannie

I was raised in Clayton Co - I moved a few years ago to Jackson (just a little south of the Jonesboro area). I like Jonesboro and at times I wish I had not moved. It's very close to most anything you would want to do. I raised my kids in the area and the schools were as good as anywhere else. I would love to help you. Thanks, Martha

Hi! My husband and I are also from Connecticut, and we now live in the Jonesboro area. He is a real estate agent and would be happy to help you and be honest in answering your important questions. Please feel free to visit Allen's website @ www.livingsouthofatlanta.com. Lots of information on the Atlanta area will be available to you there and you will be able to contact him from that website!
